Default Restoration Hardware: TV Easel question

In preparation for my ( first ever ) HDTV setup...I am narrowing down options for furniture (no wall-mount for me, I want flexibility) and am seriously considering this from Restoration Hardware: TV Easel

Does anyone have any experience with this particular piece? Or, anything similar? It is quite unique, simple, and interesting. My biggest concern is that it does not make use of the VESA mount screws. The TV is simply held in place by vertical clamping tension (as seen in the photos on the site).

Maybe I should go with something more traditional in the lines of:
    Industrial Tool Chest Media Console

I'm aware of Salamander Designs and Standout Designs and considering those as well. Any other suggestions along this caliber of furniture?

Very nice, I'd like to see some Bello items in person.

I just added a Salamander S40 to the left side the hold the rest of stuff.. Subamp, NAS and related UPS and router.. not to mention ps3 and Wii hide the S40 now as well.
That's my home made center channel lift.. that way it's points up a little.
