Thread: Apple sued over multitouch patent (irony inside)

For any of you following the drama between Apple vs. Android, you'll recall a few months ago when Apple filed suit on HTC for infringing on numerous patents, including multi-touch technology.

The theory is that Apple couldn't attack Google's Android OS directly without losing face so they went after the leading Android OS compatible phone manufacturer, HTC. Well it looks like someone else wants some of the action.

Now, Taiwanese company, Elan Microelectronics has filed suit against Apple for using the very same feature Apple claims HTC is using without consent..

Just goes to show how borked the patent system is..

god i hate apple.

i hope android kills apple in the next couple of years. it very well may if google plays it's cards right. android is growing FAST.
