Thread: What's your favorite mobile browser???

Well, I got my first smartphone (yep, you read right...) about 2 weeks ago. After trying few (including FF which I didn't like) I think I'm keeping Dolphin HD.

I don't have a smart phone but for my laptop and pc's I prefer Firefox.

But their mobile version still has a long way to go. To me the Dolphin browser looks more like what FF was supposed to be. Well, I'm pretty sure they'll get better and better with every new release but until then...

Dolphin is pretty nice. On my iPhone I like safari.

OT... How's that Tapatalk app compared to the mobile browsers???

Oh man, for forums, its the next best thing to sliced bread. Some forums have their own app that is just used for their forum, and some of them use tapatalk so you can have several accounts on the same app.

So easy to see whats new and manage options, I can also moderate from it.

BTW: Anyway we can have a general mobile phones and PDA devices forum? Maybe we can start having more topics this way ?!?

You can post threads when you first go into the phone forum, before you enter a brand specific area.

from my crack berry the "taptalk" app won't let me post in forums ... only allows me to "READ" what's going on.... my home broswer is always Firefox with Adblock enabled

You need to trade that crap berry in a something better

Eh....I just noticed many of you comment on using a different browser on your smartphone. How do you do that? Same way you would download it on PC? Hell, never thought of it. I have a windows phone, and it of course uses Explorer. I hate it.

PC - I used to use FF, then company made us go to Explorer. I don't like it.

Yep. You download it like any other app.

I just can't use anything else. Not even on Mac.

mainly, i use safari, like jason. i'd never heard of dolphin hd before i read about it here in your post. just checked it out: pretty cool. it's free -- and lets you just swipe to see bookmarks, create new tabs, etc.

Opera Mobile is also pretty good. Opera Mini is very fast. But I really like the Dolphin Mobile features.

BTW, I'm kinda surprised Google doesn't have a mobile version of its chrome browser available yet.
