Sammy 720p - Why should I calibrate it?

I have a Samsung 720p that i bought for my apartment that my employer put me in in California...so I didn't want to spend much so I bought a Sammy 32 720p...now I have it in my home office with Directv and bluray player and an HDDVD player...Samsung has 3 setting for picture I like the movie mode for all media.. I have the calibration disc...so will get more life calibrating it or not....

Hi _sprkeng_,

Calibration will improve your picture, absolutely. It will not turn your little '92 Corolla into a 2010 Ferrari F151 concept car, of course, but it will make a big difference.

I agree with David. I put a cheap 26in Sanyo in my daughter's room (that way if she breaks it I'm not worried ). The PQ was garish so used a cal disc on it. Actually made quite a difference on the POS.

True that, the corolla transformed into a 2009 Ferrari, dam, I was pissed..

I would suggest running the disk.. What do you have to lose?? It only takes a few minutes to do it..
