Default APPLE IPAD 2 VS Motorola ZOOM COMPARISON THREAD

Which would you buy and why? What are the strengths and weaknesses of both?
I am admittedly Apple biased but I wanted to hear what others think of the Motorola Zoom.

I never used a Zoom but I am an iPad 2 owner and I love it! You can't go wrong with Apple, but I am biased as well. I have the 3G AT&T 64GB and now I seldom take my laptop anywhere. But I would like to hear from Zoom owners as well...if there are any out there...

I got my wife an iPad2 with the pink smartcover and she loves how intuitive it is to use. If you know how to work the iPhone, the iPad interface comes natural.

I personally like the Zoom specs and willing give it try if the opportunity present itself.

samsung 10.1 looks impressive as well..... but I just got my wife an Ipad2. As much as I hate Itunes.. I was early adopted and now I feel we are kinda stuck with it. The only thing I dont have apple is a MacBook.

At this point IPAD 2. Honeycomb is buggy right now.

Yes. Android is still far behind Apple.

I have never been an Apple fan (probably because I'm a corporate IT guy), but I love the Zoom running Honeycomb. I feel that the with the iPAD you are stuck with iTunes for everything. This is great for folks that want things easy, but you better have iTunes available if you want to do anything (and you definitely end up paying for more stuff). With my Zoom, i can copy files - movies, songs, etc and be free to get my media from anywhere. It's probably not as easy, but it's nice to have the freedom. ]
I think the Droid apps are pretty much even with the iTunes these days.

An one thing I love about the Zoom - a back button and the "multi-window" button to switch between active windows. The iPad needs better navigation.

Thanks, brotha. One of the babies were in the hospital for a week with pneumonia and fluid in his lungs.

Fortunately I was able to stay up-to-date with HDJ using the iPhone and iPad.
