Although it may be a forerunner of things to come, it is hard to get overly worked up about a 1.4% reduction in employees.

Certainly sad for those laid off, and I would hate to see BB close up shop, but a lot of businesses have "restructured" on a more dramatic scale and managed to survive - or even come out stronger at the other end.
