Thread: Ceiling mounts for Goldenear Supersat 3 Surrounds

Those should fit... not sure if anyone else owns a set of goldenear speakers beside me on the board yet. I know a few have listened to them. Anyway, the mounting bracket on the back of the golden ear speakers is a "standard" threaded mount. Any mounting bracket that fits standard threaded mounts should fit.

IMPORTANT!!!!

For the golden ear speakers the DIRECTION you mount the speakers MATTER! I confirmed this with golden ear through their website forms and also in a direct email. Since golden ear speakers do not use a dome tweeter, but a ribbon, golden ear suggests that for ANY horizontal application of speakers, you use the "C" version (as in the center channel version). This is whether you mount the speaker horizontally for need, or for room asthetics (looks). The surround sound speakers I actually bought, are supersat3C because I have crown molding at my ceiling, and wanted to mount the speaker horizontally.

The dealer I bought them from tried to tell me it wouldnt matter, and that I could buy either one, but luckily for me I had already researched that and contacted golden ear. I mention it because you will need to consider which direction you are mounting your speakers, and if you are turning them sideways, get the center channel version.

All of the golden ear speakers I have are mounted using those same mounts. The center channel I have is mounted using (2) of them, while the others are 1 each. Dont think these mount from the ceiling, but page 13 of the golden ear manual (which talks about wall mounting) says:

"Note: The threaded insert on the back panel is a 1/4" -20UNC X 0.5" (16MM) seep thread for use with various after market mounting brackets as well as the matching supersat floor and table stands"

Not sure if it helps you any, but they have both keyhole and the threaded screw on the back for wall mounting.
