    Arrow Logitech Harmony 1100 Universal Remote Control Review

    Final Thoughts

    Like all Harmony remotes, this one certainly does not disappoint. The 1100 has the same unbelievably easy setup that the company has built its remote business on. Logitech carries that ease through to the actual day-to-day use as well and does so in a chic, compact package. Just expect to pay for those aesthetics and simplicity. This sleek touchscreen may require a bit of effort for those used to standard wand-style button-based remotes, but it's fun, it's different, and it's guaranteed to be a funky cool addition to your A/V setup.

    WOW, looks like your right. My mistake. I should have checked Harmony's home page. Guess I can't trust Amazon product size. Thanks for the correction Apronikoff.

    Yeah, it's not small but it isn't as big as it appears when pictured alone but it's still a decent size though.

    Does anyone own this remote?? I'm looking to buy it. Was wondering if it's worth the $$$. It going to run me about $470, that's including the IR setup I need for the PS3's.. I will be controlling my Panny Plasma, PS3, HD-A30, and Pioneer receiver.. Any info or suggestions would be great.. If you think another remote would be better, please let me know..
    PSN= Foreniscs80..

    Amazon has it for 326.00, but I need to buy the PS3 adapter and RF extender that brings the price to 462.00

    Rizz:
    You stated you have this remote. Are you happy with the purchase? If you had it to do over again, would you buy the same remote. Any issues/concerns i should know about before i buy it.

    I am also interested in this remote (wife is VERY unhappy about the many remotes on the table).

    I will be controlling a new Panasonic TC-P55VT30 plasma, an ancient Yamaha DSP-A1 integrated amp, an Oppo 983H DVD player, and a Panasonic BD55 Blu-ray player.

    All subject to upgrade, of course. I also may be adding a DVR, Hulu, etc to the rack.

    Do I understand correctly that after I purchase the remote, all I will have to do is download the codes for the above devices from the Harmony (Logitech) website, and I will be good to go?

    Thanks in advance for advice.
