Im so damn tired of twisting speaker wire ends. I need to get some banana plugs for my 12 ga wire and figured I should just upgrade them too. Any suggestions? thanks

Nice House! I'll use Monoprice next time I can upgrade. Im goin with Banana clips. From way back to my car audio days as a youngerster i have grown tired of twisting wires.

I twist my wires on the stud as well and getting equally tired of it. I've been thinking of upgrading to the banana plugs too. Definitely an excellant idea. Going to have to check out monoprice in the near future.

Van den Hul has just released a brand new 12 AWG speaker wire called The ARCTIC. It should be among the cheapest speaker wires in their catalogue, though I have no idea how much it retails for. I have had a great experience with VDH and would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a good speaker wire. Besides, VDH has just recently updated their banana plugs to the new Berri Bus connectors which, on top of looking neat, are also said to have a very firm grip (a friend of mine has them on their VDH SuperNova).

You're not going to beat MonoPrice's 12ga wiring quality for the price, either the in wall or regular speaker wire.
For bananas, I ran to Orange County Speaker Repair for their locking GLS Audio Banana Plugs.
For that price, those banana plugs are what I consider the best buy on the planet. I always hated regular banana plugs when they found a way to back out of the connection whether it was speaker vibration or the inadvertent speaker wire molestation.
I haven't had one of these locking bananas back out in at least two years.

Yep. Reason I like to use BFA Banana plugs.

I only have one problem with them:
They're a PITA to twist in tight places.
