Stewart Filmscreen and Swarovski Bring the Bling to Home Theater Projection Screens

Need some bling for your big screen? Stewart Filmscreen is about to provide the ultimate bragging rights, by pimping a few of its screen products.

The manufacturer just announced the Couture Collection, a new product that's a joint effort with Swarovski Elements. Yes, that name does add a little sparkle to these screen products -- literally. Swarovski's additions is all about the accents, with what the company calls "the world's finest loose cut crystals."

Those are some bitchin' HT rooms, but I can't say I see anything unusually sparkly about them.

The one that was outside by the pool was deadly cool. If I had the means to consume that conspicuously... but how well can it work, honestly? Not at all during the day, I would think.

No, that's surely for those nighttime swims and pool parties for the indulgently over-monied. You're right, too--many of those theaters are hella cool.

For a minute, I thought maybe "the world's finest loose cut crystals" were embedded in the screen to enhance reflectivity, but then I read the article again and it says they're purely decorative, so that's not it. I guess the pics just don't include the blinged-out screens.
