Default Harmony Remotes: Anything new for 2011?

I'm considering purchasing the Harmony One (would like to see it dip down to the $130 range again). Before I get one, I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any new Harmony products expected for 2011. From what I can determine, Logitech doesn't typically pre-announce, but thought I'd ask just in case.

Lowest I'm seeing it lately is around $170 from buy.com...I'd jump all over it if it hit $130 again.

    [edit $164 amazon]

Why did you choose the 650 over the One? Just didn't need to control more than 5 devices? Didn't care about touch screen or being rechargeable? I think those are the only differences, right? I'm not sure if the One is worth $70 more (per Amazon right now).

I had a real el cheapo harmony at first, because I was unsure if Id like it. Well, it lasted about a year and I loved it. When it broke, I looked em over and just did not need the One, so I saved the dough. The 650 is real solid feeling, so im happy with it. It's mainly used by my wife, I use it to cut everything on and off as well as control volume, but I use the Directv remote and BR player remote most of the time.

I have a ONE, and love it. I only use it for basic functions. Turn all my stuff on, or turn all my stuff off. Change channels, change chapters, raise, lower volume. I know it can do more - but find the programing part just a little tedious. Maybe I need more patience.

I'm like Elway - when it comes to more in depth functions, I grab the original remotes. OK by me. The original remotes are put away, because on a daily basis, we use the ONE. It looks real sweet and is rechargeable. I love it.

Thanks GOS! I'm a software developer so I'm drooling over the chance to get funky with it.

Like Elway I bought a cheap 610 to see if I would like it. Told myself when it breaks I would upgrade.....2 yrs now and the thing is still kicking. Don't know how I got along without it.

Splurge a little and get the 1100.

I've seen some 1100's refurbed from Logitech for around $230 recently, not too shabby of a price.

Also, ever heard of Torchsquid? Personally, I think the name needs work, but this is more of what I've been hoping to see, a 7-inch tablet as a universal remote.

Does the One support infrared? I know some people need it and can't recall.

Good question, hadn't thought of that. Not sure I "need" the 1100, it is slick though.

No one needs a remote control either.

Well, true, I use the term "need" loosely of course. I'm a runner, though, so I'm fine with relaxing a bit when I watch TV.

Wish I could run. I can only run about 3 miles before I die.

I can't remember where I head this (maybe here, maybe AVS), but there's a site called http://camelcamelcamel.com that tracks Amazon prices, and can send you an email when a product gets to a certain level.

I've currently got the One plugged in and set to email me if it hits $140 (which appears to be the lowest price it's been in about 6 months).

With no tax, I figure that'd be a good price for me.
