Need buying advice for Vizio VHT510 5.1 system with Panasonic TC-P50ST30

Hi all,

I was thinking of getting the Vizio VHT510 system for my Panasonic TC-P50ST30. The main question I had on this system is this: The Vizio only has an optical in. I would be having everything going through the Panasonic then. If I was to play a Blu-Ray from my PS3, would the Panasonic be able to decode the right sound format, like Dolby DTS? Or would I have to get a splitter box and have to switch the source going into the Vizio?

May I first ask what the budget is??? I mean maybe there is something better out there for the money, unless you are dead set on one or the other. Sorry you have not had a quicker response. This here gives you the most you will get for the money. A real AVR, and full audio decoding capabilities and will just flat out sound better than anything for the price.
