    Yes it would. As a matter of fact, I was going to add that into the title, "Great Starters System", but decided not to.

    For under one grand you can have a complete sound system and buy a Blu-ray player. All you need now is a HDTV.

    Absolutely. Onkyo makes the best HTIBs I've seen. The fact that they're also quite cheap only sweetens the pot.
