Default Randy Johnson gets his 300th WIN!!!!

I watched the game this afternoon on the MLB.com media player. Very cool, he's the 4th pitcher I have actually witnessed win 300 games...but it's too bad he won it as Giant and not a Seattle Mariner...oh the Big Unit deserves all those wins, especially at his age...

I haven't really watched him pitch for quite a while - but I recall him being damn impossible to hit seemed like.

With more and more starters leaving the fate of their wins up to the bullpen we won't see another 300 game winner for a long long time. Jamie Moyer (who's my age) is the closest with 250 wins. I don't see another 50 wins from this mid-forty year old guy.

Like other over the hill (past their prime) pitchers, their velocity goes down, but the great ones, learn how to get around that. Nolan Ryan is a prime example and Jaime Moyer.

One more to add to the over the hill gang , Tom Glavine now jobless and still has some gas in the tank , just needs a home now, damn club didnt even bring him back up to the bigs fired his butt from a minor team.

Jamie Moyer got to 250 wins but I dont think he'll get much further , dude just looks tired out there, very nice guy though , first class.

He's owned many ball clubs on his way to 300. He has scared the hell out of many batters...

That was outrageous. LOL..It was talked about for a long time. It's still mentioned when Johnson's name comes up. Classic indeed.
