Maybe it's just me, but I'm so sick of hearing about Fedor. He may be the best P4P fighter out there, but he hasn't fought anyone lately that is even close to being considered one of the best right now.

I haven't really seen Fedor fight. The best figthers are in the UFC, and Fedor is everywhere but the UFC nowadays. He knows that once he loses he's done.

Agree with you both.. He is worse then the Kimbo Hype.. Lets put this BS of him being the best behind us.. Have fight in the UFC and lets see what he really has..

I'd love nothing more than to see Fedor lose. It would probably bankrupt Strikeforce after the money they dumped on him to fight a bunch of has beens.

The fight I'm most looking forward to is the Mousasi one. That dude has the most laid back demeanor I have ever seen in a fighter, but the guy just gets scary once he starts fighting. When he touches gloves before the fight, I swear he will be in a slouching posture and will give the appearance as if he wants to go to the back and take a nap. And you will wonder why this hack is even fighting. And then when the fight starts, he will just lay waste to his opponent.

Fedor is deceptively nasty. I thought he was all hype too, but he is for real. I'm a big fan of Brett Rogers, but I don't think there is anyway that Fedor loses this fight. Check some of his old fights on YouTube. My favorite one is him vs Randleman.

I do think Fedor is for real, and he is an awesome fighter. But to consider him pound 4 pound the best when he hasn't faced the level of competition that some of the other great fighters, regardless of weight class, have is completely insane. IMO

It certainly would have been nice if Fedor had joined UFC to see how he would stack up against guys like Lesnar and Carwin.

Some other Fedor highlights. What I noticed about Fedor is that his ground and pound haymakers are insane and if he is ever in trouble, he will transition quickly to a submission better than anyone I know to quickly finish the fight.

Fedor is a very good fighter. He is very deceiving, the fact still remains he has not faced top competition. Everyone he has faced he has destroyed. Take his fight with Tim Silvia, Fedor completely destroyed him. Now I am not saying that Tim is some sort of really great fighter, but he has fought top competition and has never been man handled like that. Same with Fedor and Arlovski. Also to call anybody the pound for pound best fighter is almost impossible. Lets take Rampage, Lidell, and Wanderlei. Rampage beats Lidell, Wanderlei beats Rampage, and Lidell beats Wanderlei, so in this situation who is the best. Also look at title defenses I think the record is like 8 title defenses by Anderson silva, for mma that is huge, but when you think about it that really is not a huge amount of defenses. The sport is so unpredictable, and with all the different styles anything can happen.

But, I think everyone would agree that Sylvia and Arlovski were past their prime when they fought Fedor.

Agree 100%, I'm sick of the Fedor Nut huggers. The Fedor Nuthuggers also believe he can beat Chuck Norris.. I mean come on, everyone knows Chuck N. is the man..

I agree to a point. Tim, just sucks. Yes, he was the Hw champ in the UFC, but he only had AA has competiiton.. We know AA has no chin..

AA is good, but he has a glass jaw, which we see over and over again.. If AA had a chin, he would be a beast in the cage...

Fedor needs to fight some guys with talent that aren't past their prime, or over their 15 mins of fame..

One can link all the past Fedor fights they want, it's in the past, lets see him really get tested, send him to the UFC..

I will be watching this tomorrow.

As I said Tim nor AA are some sort of epic fighters, I am simply saying Fedor simply destroyed them like no one else has. What I was saying is fedor is not the best pound for pound fighter, and that trying to call anyone the best pound for pound fighter is next to impossible.

I'm a huge believer in Fedor (and I thought that Brett was being disrespect.....6:1 underdog when Choi was, what, 7:1 is ludicrous). I'm getting a bit tired of people saying Fedor hasn't faced top competition. Fedor was fighting nothing but the best in the world in Pride (you know, where everyone was juicing their assess off because they don't steroid test) and has had trouble finding an organization since they went out of business. Rogers is a top 10 HW, IMO. Silva, Werdum, and Alistair are all top-class HWs, and Fedor will fight them soon enough.

Fedor has lost one fight that should have been ruled a no contest. He has the best hips in the game, both when torquing into his punches and, more importantly, in the ground game. Rogers showed a lot on the ground, escaping a kimura, armbar, and head and neck choke. No one can transition like Fedor. He is the best. And this isn't boxing. If he loses a fight (which he probably will), he'll simply go back to the drawing board. It's not like when Prince Naseem (sp?) Hamed lost his first fight and was basically finished. This is MMA....good fighters lose (well, except Fedor so far). He is still the best HW in the world, bar none.
