I don't even know if this is on TV or not. I haven't seen any ads for it on Versus. I'd be interested in seeing Brown fight again.

EDIT: It will be Live on VERSUS.

I read somewhere that Faber is fighting at WEC 46, not sure of the date, but he's fighting some brazilian guy, forget his name.

Also excited about seeing Brown fight!

Great! Love watching Brown fight. Love to see if/when Brown takes Faber again, for the third time. Anyone heard any news on a Brown/Faber fight again?

Too bad Brown lost, but you know what, that Aldo kid is going to be fun to watch again.

    What a main event!
What the Hell Brown? Damn, Aldo looked great. The guy is quick, love to see him and Faber. Two quick hands duking it out. Disappointed in Brown. He shouldn't have been caught on the ground as he was by Aldo. Bummer.
I agree. The kid is going to be around for a long time. I was really impressed with his quick hands. Him and Faber should be a good fight.

Spoiler tag would have been nice, wasn't able to watch last night, didn't get back from the Hawks game til late. But I shouldn't have come in this thread, I actually forgot the fight was last night. Oh well, brain fart by me!!
Surprised to hear Brown lost, I thought he'd be the champ for a while. Still on the DVR so I'll watch tonight. MMA fights are still entertaining even if you know the outcome.

I'm usually pretty good at avoiding threads, I have to avoid the TUF thread because I don't get to watch it until the next day sometimes. I'm still going to watch, MMA is like no other sport, I can know the outcome but still enjoy watching the fights.

Aldo is scary good and scary young. His speed and power were shocking. Most surprising, he didn't look to be at a strength deficit against Brown when he went for take downs or pushed him up against the fence. I've seen him fight before and he's been impressive, but never against this type of competition. After seeing this fight, he just looks like a man amongst boys. I think he'll be really tough to beat, and I'd guess that in 12-18 months he may have to go over to the UFC and challenge BJ Penn if they're both still champ.

When I watched that fight, as soon as it was over, all I could think of is how freakin' awesome an Aldo/BJP fight would be. I know that's putting the cart before the horse, but that was an absolutely dominating performance.

If he can go toe to toe with BJ that would be one of the most impressive things I've seen in MMA. BJ is just so big for a lightweight, he looks like he puts on 10+ pounds between weigh-in and fight night. I just don't see him matching up in size.

Well, let's just make a rule that if you haven't seen the fight or the next episode of TUF then stay out of the thread. That way the people posting results and discussing the fight don't feel guilty.

It was hard to do, but I avoided the thread for the Spike fight this past weekend.

The hard part for me was watching the UGA/Auburn game and trying not to read the results in the bottom line on ESPN. I hate the fights across the pond, cause even when they show them free on spike they are tape delayed.
