I'd like to see Roy Nelson put real UFC heavyweights in the crucifix since that seems to be the only way he can win. I somehow dont see that happening.

If he wins, he won't last long in the UFC.. He is way to out of shape.. Mir will tear him up...

His skill was the only thing that carried him to the finals. Get in the cage with some real talent and he'll fall.

Big Country has some power with his experience. I really wanted Brendan to win. He'll be back.

That was a nice KO by Roy Nelson. It will interesting to see how he fares once he takes on real UFC talent. I have a feeling that he will be able to win over some fans if he starts succeeding, since he is not your prototypical UFC fighter.

Was also nice seeing Kimbo with a bit of ground game, but I think his big weakness is now exposed. Everybody is now going to try to kick to that bum leg of his.

Yea, it was Nice to see the Fatguy Ko the kid.. If he does go on to win a few, he will get a decent fan base.. Dana White is like oh god, we can't have this guy representing us, you can see it in his face..

Yea, Kimbo showed some skills, but as you stated his leg will be a problem.. I think if he Fights Jardine, Jardine will kick his leg until it falls off...

But Jardine will kick anyone's leg off. To be fair, it didn't really slow him down that much (though he did get knocked down by that one really good leg kick). Here's a thought. He could learn to check the damn kick (are you listening, Rampage) or.....gasp.....throw a freakin' straight right every time they kick. MMA 101, man. Houston was dropping his hand and putting his chin on a pedestal every time he kicked with his back leg......punch him in the face!!!

Great night of free fights, and Bones Jones is scary good. No one has every handled Matt Hamil like that. Right call by Mazagatti, but everyone knows who "won" that fight.

On a side note, I didn't realize until watching Inside MMA this week that Dana absolutely hates Steve Mazagatti. He expressed it in his typical respectful manner, too.....

I follow Dana White on twitter. He had some not so nice tweets about Mazagatti. Someone misquoted Dana claiming that Dana said Mazagatti is the worst ref in MMA. Dana corrected this by saying Mazagatti is the worst ref in all of professional sports.

Actually I misquoted his twitter as well.

Dana's actual tweet was, "I actually called him the worst ref in the history of the world!! Not just MMA! There has NEVER been a worst ref in fighting history"
