Anyone watching this? Other than when work gets in the way I haven't missed a UFC PPV in a long time, but I'm having trouble wanting to spend $50 on this one.

I feel the same way, WAR. I was just about to say I think I'm going to skip on on $50 this time.

With Strikeforce on CBS and Showtime, and the WEC on Versus, I may be cutting back my $55 PPV purchases. Especially for a card like this one.

I bought almost every PPV purchase in 2009, and there were quite a few cards that ended up being snoozers.

    Still love it of course!

I'm in the same boat as you guys.. This card has to be the weakest card I seen in a long time.. I doubt I'll drop any money on this one..

I bought just about every card too this year.. Last months I didn't because comcast was done, which I'm still pissed about.. That was a helluva card, and I wanted to see the fights live.. Uggh..

I'm still undecided, I think it may be one of those cards that may be missing some star power, but as I keep looking at the card, some of these guys have potential to make these fights exciting. Silva and Evans couls easily turn into a good brawl.....oh hell I'll probably buy it. Are there any Bowl games on that night that are any good??

Watch, the 3 of us will still end up getting it, haha! My knees start getting weak when the prelims air on spike.

I watched it, but went over to my Uncles house so I wasn't out the $55. Pretty good fights tonight. Rashad's fight was a bit of a snoozer until the third round. Rashad had a gameplan and stuck with it, but he almost got baited into Silva's showboating and lost.

I can't wait to see Rampage break his face.

I bought it last night.. Couldn't resist. lol..

Yea, the fights weren't too bad IMO.. I thought it was a good showing for what the card looked liked..

Yea, Rashad, did what he wanted to do, which was go back to his roots(Wrestling).. I think we will be seeing Rashad wrestling more and more now.. I feel once he was KO by Lyto, he finally figured his chin wasn't made of Granite. That's why I thought he would go back to his ground game..

You could also see in the 3rd round when he got blasted, he was like oh shit, not again. lol.. But if Silva spent his energy on punching Rashad, he might of won.. All that show boating does nothing but wear you out and make you look like a fool.. A classic mistake by a young fighter..

Rashad vs Rampage should be a good fight, I think we will see more ground game from Rashad then stand up.. He may be afraid to stand up like he used to.. Just my 2cents though..

I was able to restrain myself. I don't miss many (I didn't get the last card that had Ortiz/Griffin as the "main event"), but I just couldn't do it. Glad Rashad won, though, so hopefully the Page/Evans fight can go off. That one I'll most definitely buy.

Looks like you were right, we all ended up watching. LOL!

The Sam Stout fight was awesome, and Paul Daley is going to be a beast at 170, unless he continues to struggle making weight, the guy is huge for 170 lbs.

Daley has missed weight by as much as 7-8 pounds, IIRC, so he either needs to get serious about making weight (can't get a belt if you can't make the weight....and no one-pound leeway in championship fights) or move on up to middleweight. He is a very good fighter, though, and he only missed by one pound this last time and wasn't even forced to re-weigh since he was wobbly at the weigh-in.
