I feel he hasn't fought anyone of real threat to him in the last few years. He's been fighting cans IMO.. He hasn't fought in the UFC for multiple reasons. First, he wants to wrestle in Russia and Dana White wont let him do that why he is under contract. 2nd, HW's in the UFC up until the two years was the weakest divison, so he still wouldn't have much of a threat. I do want to see him Fight in the UFC, but I doubt we will see that.
I would like to see him fight some worthy fighters IMO he hasn't. You will get guys posting that he his the best, and everyone he fights is the best. They will say he fought Former UFC champions, Yes, he did, but they were on the fall of their careers..

Other guys will chime in, so sift through the Fedor nut huggism and take what you want from those posts..


As for looks, looks don't mean crap. I know he looks like a out of shape drunk, but he can bang and there is no doubt that he will put just about anyone to sleep. I just want to see him fight better caliber fighters.. I think alot more fans are wanting that too.. Until he fights in the UFC, a great deal of Fans of MMA won't think he has been challenged of late. I'm one of them..

Well, he his a step up from who Fedor has been fighting.. So calling him a can, was a premature statement to make. I apolgozie for that, but he still isn't a A list fighter..

In the words of george St. Pierre. (who i consider to be one of the best fighters in the world), hes is the best.

There are some WWE Crock lesnar nutt-huggers that dump on fedor for having a 31-0 record vs brock lesnars 3-1 record.
To these guys, UFC is the only place that has good fighters on planet earth.
They will give no validity to Fedor beating multiple former UFC champs, but they will give all the credit in the world to Brock lesnar for beating a 78 year old Randy couture,

Fedor simply didnt want to join UFC. its that simple. Dana white even offered to let Fedor do his sambo and other activities.
Fedor still said no.

I would like to see Fedor fight in the ufc, but who knows if that will ever happen. But fedor does what he wants to do and doesn't have to prove shit to anyone. Especially a bunch of WWE raw fanatics.

I would like to see Fedor take on Overeem since Overeem dispatched Rogers rather easily. Overeem has claimed that Fedor has declined to fight him, so maybe Fedor is padding his stats by cherry picking guys he knows he can beat.

If you look at his past fights, who as he really fought??? No one really of any decent quality of late.. Yea, he has an impressive record, but when he fights not so impressive guys, it's easy to pad..
There will always be he his the best, he isn't debate until he signs with the UFC, until then we can only speculate.. Right now the UFC is the King of MMA, it's where it's at. So, if you don't want to fight in the UFC, what does that say about you?? I mean if im the best, I would want to fight the best, but that is not the case with Fedor.. I don't care what anybody says, he hasn't fought any worth a shit in the last few years.. Don't give me he fought former UFC champions. They are former champs for a reason, they lost and are on the decline.
I would like him to fight Overeem, I'm not sure if we will see that though..

Hopefully, I wouldn't hold my breathe though. He only fights 1-2 times a year, plus he has to pick who he wants to fight.. Can't fight someone who may be capable of winning.

What may happen, is he waits too long to tong on another true test, and then loses due to age. This then calls in to question your record. Seen it happen to many boxers. It's also a reason I'm tired of boxing, they all go outta their way to find the next easy challenge (or a guy past their prime with only a name) so they retain the title. Not saying this is Fedor, just saying it happens too often. I prefer the guy that has several loses, but aint scared to fight anyone.

You're right, that's how he has been the last few years.. He fought some tough ass dudes no doubt, but in the last few years, he hasn't fought anyone worth the dam.. You said it, he his fighting names that were big at one time..

For me, as I said before, you claim to be the best, then fight the best. So, if he fight Overeem, that would be a step in the right direction..

I don't care if he is 100-0 if he hasn't fought the best at the current time, then that record to me his shit..

So hopefully we get to see him fight some A class fighters soon.. Only time will tell. Until then, sit down and enjoy the ride.
