Faber's speed and stamina I think are the keys to this fight, if Brown can find a way to slow him down and lean on him a bit, he should be able to pull it out. But I would never put money against someone as talented as Faber. This could be one of the best fights of the year. Just hope it doesn't turn into a one sided beating like Penn and GSP did.

Brown has some heavy hands, hopefully Faber can stay away from them.. I like Faber, hope he wins...

This will be a tuff fight.

I think Faber learned to respect Browns power and ability to be in the right place at the right time.

Faber must chose his strikes carefully and immediatly faint and move away the second he lands a blow.
The last thing he wants to do is hang out in the mix with Brown.

Faber needs to get in (with a fast kick or punch) and then get out.
And repeat this over and over again.

His ability to refrain from "going all out" will determine the outcome of this fight.

Conidering both are so well rounded, I think there is gonna be a war no matter if it goes to the ground or is a stand-up fight.
Personaly, I would like to see it standing up more than on the ground.

I think you got it right. It will be a war, Faber needs to do exactly as you say. Maybe the same way he fought Pulver the first time. Stick and Move!!1

That's basically what I said on a few other forums.. Faber has to be patient, if not, it will be a repeat of last time..
I personally want to see a ground fight. I want to see who is better on the ground.. Anyone can get lucky with a punch and knock someone out. I want to some ground skills..

i kinda want to see some ground and pound, but the only thing is that both are so good.
When both fighters are great like this, it sometimes makes for a boring fight because both are so equal and get stuck in a holding pattern. Niether wants to take a chance because they know one mistake can end the fight.
but who knows. You never really know. It could be a great ground fight.

i bet it will get emotional in a minute for pulver when they interview him. I hope he becomes a commentator on WEC.

HAHA, Yea. Is usual post fight loss interview.. Retirement, Yea, that's a great thing for him, he has been around for a while.. He was a good fighter, just that these young bucks are insane..

You can tell he really tried to but just had to tapp.

Would have been nice to at least see him go out swinging instead of like that.

I agree, I like Jens, that's why I always root for him.. He is a class act.. I'm sure we will see him again, maybe on the sidelines coaching..

I was rooting for him to pull out as well, but the fighters were both dry and fresh, so I kinda figured he was done..

I have always wondered, Why don't these fighters drain thier ears before coming to a fight??
Its easy to do and only takes a few minutes.

You would think that if your gonna go on camera in front of millions of people, you would try to get your ears looking normal. lol.

After years of doing that, that's what happens. They look like that. It's actually better when there like that. It's all hard bone that has formed in there.
Look at Couture,Hughes, their ears are like that. No draining will help that..

Dam, that was a quick second Fight.. He laid a beaten on him.. That was a nasty punch that dropped him..
