    Default Memorable solos

Solos are great, and as with most other people, they're often my favorite part of a given song. In fact, I once cropped my favorite solos from their songs and created a separate playlist for them on my portable mp3 player, so that I could listen to all of them in a row - or in any order I liked - without having to skip through each song to find them.

So I thought "Hey, why not open a thread in which we can share our favorite solos with each other?" Which, if you post a video of someone covering said solos, may also assist in showing how exquisitely technical they are when appropriate.

Besides, I wanted to give the thread a showy title but I'll really settle for any solo that is catchy, even if not exactly memorable

This is a video of a guy playing the solo from Children of Bodom's Ugly. Not very memorable but pretty catchy, and I've been fairly obsessed with it recently.

Alex Lifeson. From Limelight. One of the best ever. Here's a compilation of some of his stuff. Just beautiful.

    ^ Post it!

More on the memorable side compared to the one I've just post, this is a rendition of one of Children of Bodom's best solos, from the song Kissing the Shadows

Also, first to post Crazy Train and Mr. Crowley solos wins nothing but they're both pretty memorable... GOS?

I could go on and on with Alex Lifeson solos. Anyone can play fast, that doesn't impress me, but to build something...amazing.
