This is also airing on fuse Sunday night.

The award for Alice was actually for the old Alice Cooper Band, (Alice, Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, Neil Smith and Glen Buxton), that was the group before Welcome to my Nightmare.

Really? It's for "Alice Cooper" the band? I didn't know that. Though, I didn't read article too close. Regardless, clearly, the Alice Cooper Band that you mention were flat out amazing. Great musicians, great music and way ahead of their time. Deserved!!!!

Nice catch Vlad - you are exactly correct. This makes even more sense. The Alice Cooper Band WERE groundbreaking. Just an amazing band at their pinnacle. Here is link to some info on them and their induction. Nice.... STORY

    How old are you guys?

I've never heard of them before.
My son Dominc just died recently at being seven months and if you don't mind making a small donation please look for the donate button on the main page.

    Thank you,
    Keith

Meh. Alice Cooper I can take or leave pretty easily, but Tom Waits is the be-all and end-all for me.

    Heh. Hi vläd,

Sorry, man. I'll take Blue Valentine, Swordfish Trombones and Rain Dogs over those any day. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

    Yours,

    David

Most of them I hadn't heard of either and I'm old. Who knows how the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame comes up with their logic. I'm still trying to figure out how Jethro Tull was the first inductees.

I also LOVE their 2nd LP called Easy Action. (1970) Just amazing stuff. If you've not heard it Vlad - get it! You will not be disappointed...

Don't worry, I have all of the studio CDs and most of the live ones. There's just wayyy too many silly compilation CDs.
