    Unhappy Little Wii help.. Thanks

OI went out and bought Super Mario bros for the Wii the other day..So I finally dusted the Wii off and went to hook it up to my receiver,( a Pioneer and elite Vsx-01th), and it won't output audio or video.. I bought the Hd cable for the Wii, and I bought the HD componet cables from Monoprice a while back, and when I hook it all up nothing..
When I siwitch to different out puts, I get sound from the tv, on the cd output of my receiver.. The sound only comes through the TV, not my speakers, and on the CD output..

Would any of you guys/girls, no what the problem might be.. I been fiddling with the thing(No, not my thing, the reciever) for about an hour..

Thanks in advance for any insight..

I have my Wii hooked up to my pio vsx-01th, and every now and then it drops the picture(Screen goes all black) for a second or two.. Somedays it doesn't do it all, but others it may do it every 5 minutes or so.. Anyone have any Clue why..

I have it hooked up using Hd componet cables from the Wii to receiver, and Hdmi out of the reciever to the Tv.. I tried using componet cables out, but couldn't get anything, even after I assigned it a output..

I would just like to know why it goes to a black screen everyknow and then..

    Thanks..
