    Default Wii and Wii-Fit

My wife and I are considering getting a Wii, Finally!

We want to get the game that has the golf driving range and a board that will give feedback on your stance, swing, etc. Is the Wii-Fit what we want?

I think the Wii-Fit is like 70 or 80 bucks but there is something else for Wii-Fit that is like 20 bucks. What is that? And do we need it?

The wife and I were given the Wii for Christmas from our kids....including the Wii Fit....I believe the $20 item is the bundle of games that work with the Wii Fit..ours came with one aerobic excercise and the kids added the golf, tennis and baseball games...

Have you ever figured out how to hold a beer and the num-chuck at the same time?

I have been disallowed to hold a beer in my hand while using the paddle....and I found out why the wrist strap is a must......

Bought the Wii and Wii Fit at Best Buy yesterday. Picked Best Buy because I had an $80 gift card. Ordered it online for in store pickup. Ended up costing $242 total, after the card. Then I bought a skin for the controller, charger with two batteries and the Component cables all on Monoprice for $18.60.

It says it's so you can grip it better/more securely? Won't set it up until Saturday (wife's birthday, it's hers. REALLY!) Hoping the stuff from monoprice gets here by Saturday (it's coming USPS 2-3 day and it shipped today).

The grip thing isn't really necessary, except it came with one for the nunchuck also. The controller already comes with a better skin. We set it up, and everything I got from Monoprice works perfectly (specifically the component cable). My wife says we need another controller and some "real" games! So we are going to go to Blockbuster and rent some to try before we buy.

This Wii is pretty cool. This is my first game console I've had since:

We discovered the "Challenge" portion of Wii Sports about 10:00 last night. We especially liked the Bowling challenge, the one where you start with ten pins and they keep adding rows on the back until you are trying to knock down 91 pins! We both knocked down all 91 once! High score for me was 590, with four strikes, including the 91. I also had a 500 game. My wife was over 500 I think three times. We played until 1:00 this morning.

My right arm really hurts today. This Wii is really a stupid game! LOL
