    Default New JVC DLA-RS35

Today the brown truck brought my new JVC DLA-RS35 Way excited!!!I am in the middle of doing some other upgrades (running wires, adding height speakers, clean up my rack, ading new RTI remote, upgrading receiver) so my theater is some what tore up. Hopefully I can get some time in the next week to get it set up. Have not been this excited about my theater in years.

I just got in JVC's HD-990, which is the same as the RS35. Beautiful machine.

    Enjoy!

    Hi Robert,

Hey, do you remember what model projector it was that Joe Kane showed off at CEDIA? You know, the one where he showed Casablanca with OOB settings? I was/am just in love with that thing.

    Yours,

    David

It's a Joe Kane exclusive, model 8100, made by Samsung.

Its been awhile and I STILL am not up and running... I put up a new cinemascope screen (166") from draper, and installed my Paradigm Studio 20 height speakers. Since I put up the screen I also ordered a Panamorph anamorphic lens kit and now waiting on a Chief mount to complete the PJ install. My Optoma had DVI so a pulled a new HDMI from the rack to the PJ. The HDMI -just- fit through the soffit & I got lucky. I built the theater and have no excuse why I did not run a conduit for future upgrades like this, but none the less I got the line in. I have traveled the past 2 weekends so not much time dedicated to getting the upgrades complete. This week is the week to get this done. I will try and post pictures when finished.

The rack trim piece is not attached in the pictures and the rack slide out rails are attached. I am adding a fan/vent due to the heat from the Onkyo 5007 and also working on the RTI remote integration. Still making remote pages and not ready to install yet. Yes, the beer is cold.

Hello. Had a question about the JVC projector and Panamorph. Will the newer models work with the Panamorph 380 anamorphic lens? My JVC RS2 does not have a receeded lens that the new series have. I fear I have the upgrade bug and don't want to find out that Panamorph won't work with the newer JVC's.
    Thanks.
