Thread: Samsung SP-A900B DLP Projector (HTM Review)

Coming off a review of the Sony BRAVIA VPL-VW85 SXRD projector (Home Theater, November 2009) and recent exposure to JVC’s 2009 offerings, all of which produce stunning blacks, I found the Samsung’s absolute black level to be a little retro. But it’s still comparable to most DLP projectors, and it’s similar to what you’ll see in a good movie theater.

Wow doc that is a great price for someone just venturing into the projector scene, I mean at that price why worry about room darkening and such , one could just use it at night and still have a nice bright flat panel for daytime viewing kinda somewhat my thoughts on HT in my home , A night time theater look with a blu ray or HD TV with the projector and a typical HT during the day in the same room, nice..
