you know that would be a mistake..you and I are in similiar situations...due to where we live...we can't crank it up...unless you are going to sleep with it....then it's ok...or just display it ...like artwork...it is New York afterall...people probably would think it's just to look at..maybe you could get a glass case for it and display it in the middle of the room...

OT: That is why I'm glad I'm a country boy. I can watch or listen to anything as loud as I want.

There certainly are advantages to that...but..I can actually walk to get my groceries/booze or whatever....and everything is so close..it's unreal...I live in a waterfront community/water view... and I have a sat dish(no obstructions)so it makes up for it..but yea..I'd love to be able to rattle the windows sometimes...

Yes I see your point. I'm about a mile from town. So being the lazy unprincipled Republican I am... I use the SUV. LOL

Ever since my wife and I bought our new house and have our dedicated home theater in the basement I can crank my system up as loud as I want. In our last apartment were limited because of downstairs neighbors that loved to call the cops instead of just asking us to turn it down. Bastards!!!
