HDJ RULES TO LIVE BY.

Hey, we all HATE rules, but I think if we just follow a few simple steps, it will help make the board a much more pleasant place to spend time at.

Rule #1 - THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: Absolutely NO bashing (personal attacks), flaming, racial comments, or trolling of any kind. We have no problem bashing/disagreeing with a post, but attacking members directly will result in being immediately suspended or banned. (Remember some members may be armed and considered dangerous).

Rule #2 - Absolutely NO posting NUDE photos of any kind. Please do NOT post links to any adult site. (female or male.) We are a HIGH DEFINITION FORUM. This is out of courtesy to our members who may find them to be offensive. (Toughest rule, we all know)

Rule #3 - When posting those great deals (which we all appreciate) Please make sure you post them in the DEALS FORUM. DO NOT post any visible links. However, you can embed a link in a word or picture. PLEASE refrain posting a sellers LOGO. These will be considered SPAM and will be deleted. First offense will result in a warning. (Hell, we all makes mistakes). The second offense will be considered intentional (Hell, we've all been wasted) and you will be put on probation. The third incident will be automatically BANNED. This is being done to prevent and avoid SPAMMERS which no one appreciates, and to protect the site from a possible legal action for using businesses' trademarked logos. (IF YOUR FIRST POST IS FOR ADVERTISEMENT, YOU MOST LIKELY WILL BE BANNED IMMEDIATELY)

Rule #4 - Any discussions about file sharing (copyrighted material), hacks, or anything illegal is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Rule #5 - Do not SPAM anyone through Private Messaging. (PM's)

Rule #6 - No commercial posting of any kind without approval from HighDefJunkies. Therefore, obviously, NO SPAM of any kind.

Rule #7 - New members may not post any links, email addresses or new threads until they first have made at least ten normal, non-linking posts in existing threads. The purpose of this rule is not to impose any heavy burdens or "haze the newbies" (we don't do that), but to prevent spam. We sincerely hope this does not cause any trouble for honest members. If and when you do encounter problems, please PM an administrator or moderator and we will help you ASAP.

Rule #8 - No active company graphics/logos, links to your company, or advertising is allowed in your SIGNATURE/AVATAR without permission. We have fantastic deals on banners as well as allowing advertisers to put their logo and links in their signature. Please contact us for more information.

Rule #9 - HighDefJunkies is in NO WAY responsible or liable for information posted on the board by it's members or items sold through the classified ads. Make sure you do all your research and take every post with a grain of salt.

Rule # 10 - Profanity and vulgar language should be held to a minimum. Try to remember that other members may find it offensive in reading constant profanity in posts.
