Battle: Los Angeles

Hey Barnie, great job on the review and thanks.

The wife & I watched this flick tonight, and I liked it for the same reasons you gave. Last week, I got this movie in from Netflix on a recommendation from my brother in law. Then, last night we were watching the Ebert film critic show, and he listed this movie as one of the top 5 worse movies of the year. The other two critics thought that was harsh. So I really didn't know what to make of the movie when we started watching it. I thought the director and actors did a pretty decent job of it, and enjoyed the movie. Usually, when I see B-movie actors playing leading roles and few glimpses of the alien critters, it means "low budget" flick in my mind. Two-face did a good acting job IMHO. Anyway, we all know there won't be any Oscars handed out to this crew, but still I found it entertaining.

Did yaw get to see them film the highway scenes when they were there? The week they were doing Transformer 3 in Chicago we were there on vacation, but didn't stop by to look.

You probably like it. It's no Girl with the Dragon Tattoo or anything of such caliber... but.

Great flick, buddy! I have to do a review for that one. Remember you have till December 21, 2012 to cut loose, get butt-naked wild, and join a swingers' party/orgy... to get it all out of your system.
