Question Any good free Blu-Ray playing software for windows box?

    Hi all,

As part of my transition from SD DVD to Blu-Ray, I am hoping to play the occasional Blu-Ray disc on a PC (Win 7 64). The bulk of my watching will be on a 55ST30 through a Panasonic BR player, but I would like to be able to watch one on the PC from time to time. I already have a BR drive mounted, so am set for hardware, but it didn't come with any software. Googling "free blu ray software" gets me a lot of hits, so there appear to be things out there.

Have you tried one of the free BR playing software packages and found that it played your BR discs well? This is not a high enough priority for me to spend $ on. More of a "nice to have".

Thanks so much for the recommendation! Looks like a pretty nice item. Did you ever have a chance to try it yourself?

Nope. I don't think they release it yet.
