Board friends help needed on final TV selection.

I have narrowed my choices down to the TC-p50ST50 and the LG 47LM7600. I have had the chance to try both sets out at a local Sears that a friend works at, so I can bring Xbox 360 and several blu-rays to test display. I have come to these two because of price and performance, but would appreciate outside first hand experience with either model. Thanks

You are looking at a Plasma and a LCD: have you done the research to understand to basic differences between the two technologies?

Since you have seen both sets: What do you Like about each? Dislike about each?
What features / performance factors are IMPORTANT to you?
What are you concerned about when thinking about a HDTV in general, or either of these in particular?

I can tell you that we are enjoying our (60") ST50 very much - it is not Perfect, but no set is. For more details, read whatever Owner's Threads you can find for each model - either here or elsewhere....

sharp has come a long in tv quality, if you have the room the 80" inch 844u is a good choice...opinion...regards
