NAD M3 Integrated Stereo Amplifier

The M3 is not only an excellent integrated amplifier, it is an unusual one as well. The distortion measurements did not change much between 8 ohm and 4 ohm loads, which means the output tended not to move into areas that the power supply could not handle. This was by design, and it’s no wonder that the M3 is still around after five years, with only minor changes. It’s great. I am not sure anything else needs to be changed.

Damn, the build quality looks excellent!! I really want something like this for a nice 2 channel setup.

OMG 3k for that thing? Yes it does look nice but 3 freaking grand? Thank god for companies like what NAD used to be all about back in the day. Quality products at fair prices. I could put together one hell of a two channel system for 3k that would blow that thing out of the water. It looks like a geat piece for sure, but not in anyway way is it worth 3K. Doesn't Krell offer something similar at a similar price?

For 500 less you get this krell the s300-i. Of course some searching online will get you the M3 for less than msrp.

Wow, krell looks a little.... sparse for the price... Could put together a nice system for $2500 as well no ?

What else does the Nad offer over the Krell : twin binding posts, Main Amp input, dual mono design, selectable 40, 60, 80, 100 Hz crossover, Ultra precise multi-stage electronic volume control using discreet resistors... Looks a hell of a lot nicer (and that includes the remote) and seems to have quite a bit more under the hood no ?
