Man I loved Matlock. Seriously one of my favorite shows ever.
Oh, disco is serious. May lock was good stuff. By the way, I love beer.
Serious about Matlock. Used to loved watching re runs of that show.
Man talk about a tv icon. Sad news to hear of his passing. I actually thought he was older though.

Years ago while traveling in the area, I was able to visit Andy Griffith's original home in Mt Airy, NC. The town used as an inspiration for "Mayberry". While I grew up watching the TV series The Andy Griffith Show, there are two films that made at least an equal impression on me. Those excellent films are: "A Face in the Crowd" (1957) and "No Time For Sergeants" (1958). Both films are B/W. I can tell you as a kid first watching "No Time For Sergeants" on TV movie night, I laughed so hard my sides hurt. "A Face in the Crowd" I saw later as a teenager, and a few months ago I saw it again on TV. The movie is a classic, and has themes that are relevant today. Acting, scripts, cinematography all first-rate. Gosh darn, thank you Andy for being the best dang Offiical Latrine Orderly in the whole dang Aire Force!
