ABCMissoula-based electronics and appliances retailer will file for bankruptcy.
Chief Executive Officer of Vann's, Jerry McConnell, says the company's partner electronics retailer, the ON Store in the Southgate Mall, and the company's clothing retailer, bigskycountry.com, have not been profitable - a big factor in Vann's need for financial protection.
McConnell says ideally, Vann's will emerge from the Chapter 11 bankruptcy process as a smaller, healthier, more focused Montana company.
