Who here used D-Nice settings?

What were your experiences using his settings vs. out of the box modes?

Well,I had him calibrate my 8500 a few years ago and it was worth every cent.Best picture I have ever seen and i could have never got to this on my own.Each set is different and if you want the best you must get individual calibration.

I followed d-nice's posted procedure for 100 hours of slides and his post-panel-prep calibration settings in custom mode for the ST50.
The settings work very well, I can slightly increase the contrast and brightness level as well for a higher white level as needed.
I also tried the CNET settings for the ST50, but d-nice settings were a little better on my set.
Either are way better than out of the box settings, especially the dim standard mode that is the default.
