A couple KRP-500M questions

I'm getting ready to buy a KRP-500M, but have a couple of little questions I'm hoping someone can answer.

First one involves how to break-in the display. Would you recommend I use specific break-in images only for the first 100+ hours? It would be hard, but if that's the best way to do it I could put it in another room and let it just run the slide-show for a week. Or would it make more sense to simply watch only content that takes up the entire screen, and run the slideshow at night while sleeping. Or should I not worry about running specific break-in images at all?

Second questions is about the 500M's ability to display 24p content. Can someone confirm or deny whether or not there is flicker when displaying 24p content.

Nope...

It refreshes 24P content at 72Hz (3:3 Pulldown) with no flicker.

I'm taking delivery of my 500M tomorrow from Robert (VE)^^ and I plan to use D-Nice's 150 hour break in settings (check that "other" forum) as well as the AVS disk. I've read that you can choose to break the TV in however you want, either by running patterns on it or watching TV programs with Full 1 (make sure the entire screen is covered). Just don't let any static images stay on the TV during this time for too long.
