As, it appears, being the lone dissenter in this, as long as everyone's OK with it, then it has to be a good thing. Even though I wasn't for it, I'll still use it! hehehe

Really?? I don't think I've had a problem with the time limit edit feature. LMAO. Thanks BLT I know the other members will enjoy that. I always hated on other forums when I would think of something to add to a post but I couldn't go back and do it.

Remember the group you put both bravestime and me into when we were having trouble banning spammers and deleting their bogus threads? I think maybe that's the difference.

Whatever do you mean??? Oceania and Eurasia have always been friends. They have never been at war. Everyone knows this.

Are you trying to imply something, perhaps?

    Vigilantly yours,

    David

I know, and now that you can edit this post in a year, how will we ever know?

That is one of the downsides to these internet forums; it really is (I mean, I know you were kidding, but the point you make is serious). I think it's a fundamental flaw in the internet altogether, actually. Anyone can say anything, group A very easily can shout down group B or anyone else so long as group A is organized, and there's relatively little serious fact-checking and even less enthusiasm among people for honest fact-checking. This is why I refuse to get my news from blogs. I get it only from sources I know to be honest, trained, objective and professional.

Still, for our little forum, I think the benefits of being able to edit our posts indefinitely well outweighs the risks.

    Yours,

    David
