Hilarious Content Warning..

If you subscribe to Sound and Vision Magazine..this is a warning..please don't read this issue on a full stomach..because you will be barfing up the contents..due to LOL too much..page 68 is an April Fool's joke about "Lirpa Labs" Speakers..notice that Lirpa spelled backwards is April..the lines in the article are awesome...the creator of the speakers is none other than Dr. Loof Lirpa..april fool spelled backwards...

Here are some excerpts..."the woofer makes 13 total drivers..one for each of the original 13 colonies".."the speaker magnets and all internal wiring are made from steel..in deference to the languishing U.S. Steel Industry".."on the back are 3 toggles, mimicking a design found in the Ford GT40. Each gives a 12db boost to certain frequencies"..."knowing that ports means bass..Dr. Lirpa designed the Liberty Freedom with 4 chrome ports, 2 on each side, designed to evoke thoughts of a 1957 Buick Roadmaster. The flame decals on the front add 3db each"

"Many speakers come wrapped in velvet bags to prevent scuffing and give the air of luxury. Dr Lirpa felt that velvet, given it's origins in Asia, was too foreign. Instead, each Liberty Freedom is wrapped in a full-grain patent leather satchel. Each speaker covering, I was told, requires an entire cow and is used only once then discarded. I'm no authority on leather, but that sounds impressive, and it certainly looks and feels like it came from a high end cow"

The story isn't very hilarious when someone tells you the ending before you read it...

Not being a sourpuss, it just woulda be nice to experience the surprise, as a paying subscriber to the same mag, instead of getting a heads up on here. Thats what spoiler tags are for.

It's all good, I just encourage folks to use spoiler tags when they are needed, so they don't ruin the story/movie before others can read it. Thats one of those pranks that you need to go into surprised for it to be real good.
