I had a great one in Va, but the one here shows two things, Jack and Shit when it comes to actual non IMAX movies.

It seems to me theaters have lowered the volume in recent years. Every theater around here is way low, I mean I should not have to stop eating popcorn in quiet scenes. We did have a nice theater in Sc, from 2006-2008, it was hella loud.

There's a couple that I will still go to here. Harkins theaters are pretty good sound-wise, and there's a few IMAX theaters relatively close.
It's been kinda amazing, the last few flicks that I have gone to see, a lot of the audience members are proactively telling others to step out if they need to use their phone. Maybe it was just the after 10 pm crowd that tends to be a bit older of an audience out here.

Judging by the brief glimpses of The Dark Knight Rises we’ve seen so far, we know that Batman is going to take a beating — likely at the hands of the muscled terrorist Bane. Anne Hathaway’s cat burglar, on the other hand, has been much more difficult to pin down. Is she part of Bane’s “liberation” front, a freelancer with her own scheme, or a potential ally for our aging hero. The most recent TV spot showcased the semi-playful costume-party banter between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, who shrewdly ended up getting her own ride home.
But the newest movie poster — uncovered on the film’s website by a hawk-eyed reader of Batman-News.com — hints that the feline vamp might not flinch from stepping on Batman’s neck, should the opportunity arise. True to the character’s ambivalence, though, she leaves her mark with a kiss. Check it out below.![]()

Cost, what you talking about Willis?
It only cost me $38 for two tix to Avengers, a popcorn, snack and two drinks. And that was during the day discount LOL. I was told it was because the Hulks salary was so high.
Id gladly pay that if I could hear the movie over my popcorn.

When it cost me more for two tickets than the price of the Blu-ray, I have to think long and hard if the movie is worth paying to see. Once I replace my AE900U Panny with new 3D Epson projector for Christmas this year, it may be a hell of a long time before I step foot into a theater again. Hella long time![]()
I still love the theaters. Something about it transport me. It's the whole experience of it all. Esp if it's a good crowd and the movie is really good.

2hrs 45 mins, nice.
Only thing to do now is wait for a mini spoiler synopsis. I have my doubts on the ending, and if it is one that will piss me off Ill be watching it at home and waiting.

Slightly more details about the run time here (the run time was announced at the MTV Movie Awards):

No videos of the new footage since MTV wants people to watch repeats of the Movie Awards but here's an analysis:

Tv spot. Note the cane...
I guess we get Bane trashing Batman in the beginning, then a recovery to defeat Bane in the end, but we'll see.

I picked up my IMAX tix for the 21st this morning. The Blade and Blade Trinity blurays that came out a couple weeks ago had $5 off coupons, so that knocked the price down to $20 for two tix.

It's funny as hell how all the fanboys can't handle the reviews coming out that say it isnt the next best thing to sliced bread LOL.
I've read a lot of reviews on it, as well as some claimed spoilers. From what Ive pieced together, if mostly accurate, it sounds good but I can see the complaints.
