    Default Wilson Audio

Check this out, I bought the Watt Puppies 4 years ago for my 2 channel room.
If you get a chance listen to them. They sing to me.

Without getting into technical aspects and spouting off numbers, design, cabinet volume, drivers or any of that I will just say I had the honor of auditioning Watt Puppy 6 & 8, Thor's Hammer, Polaris, Sophia and their strange looking Center Channel of the same name. All were exceptional sounding and I wrote a review in a national magazine about one particular model. I must say they are quite close to perfection and are in a very exclusive club at the top of the speaker chain with very few other members. That alone speaks volumes...

Wilson Audio definitely makes great sounding speakers. I auditioned one model - I think it was the Sophia - last September in Milan, and they were really good. My only compalint is design: they honestly don't look that good. But as far as sound is concerned, they're a safe bet for sure.

Wilson has a custom paint program, you supply the sample and they will paint it any color. I have seen some amazing colors matched from cars of owners.
Btw, they are made in Utah. I know it's hard to believe but a pair of Wisons and maybe a Pass amp. and made in the USA starts to sound like World class.

homank, you may want to update your location in your profile. Are you in Atlanta or Korea?

Krell and Wilson Audio seem to be a very appreciated match, in general. I've seen many high end setups using both brands in conjunction. On a slightly unrelated note: are those blue Meridian units I spot in the second picture homank posted?!? LOL

Btw, homank: how's your amp hunting going? You never got back to my PM

I've been buying to much camera stuff to worry about the amp right now. The weather is just to nice not to go around and enjoy it.
