Anyone ever painted speaker cabinets?

OK before everyone jumps on me for being ghetto, Im trying to save money here. I was looking at the Jamo 606 HCS, mainly due to price point, but nothing in my house is Wood color. I know they make them in black but they are twice the price. Has anyone successfully painted the speaker housings without it looking just dumb as hell?

You can paint them. Whether or not they turn out nice depends on your painting skills, honestly. That is a fine set up for sure, and almost can't be beat for price/performance!

Exactly. Just don't go cheap on the paint.
