Default Klipsch Heritage Series from Hope, Arkansas

    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Please note: Klipsch Heritage Series products are built to order, handmade in the US at our Hope, Ark. manufacturing facility. Choose "standard shipping" and allow up to 8 weeks turnaround time.

    Highly efficient: 105 dB 1W / 1M
Fully horn-loaded, full range, three-way system with a patented folded-horn 15" woofer delivers powerful low frequencies
2" midrange and 1" tweeter compression drivers.
Capable of extreme output levels with ultra low distortion and astonishing dynamic range
Available in a high-quality Cherry, Walnut or Black Ash wood veneer finish
Audio pioneer and company founder Paul W. Klipsch launched the Klipschorn loudspeaker in 1946 to enable people, for the first time ever, to experience the power, detail and emotion of a live performance at home.* Commonly called a corner-horn speaker, the remarkably uncommon Klipschorn includes a highly efficient horn loaded tweeter and midrange compression driver. Its patented folded-horn 15" woofer delivers powerful low frequencies.

Considered a watershed industry event, the introduction of the Klipschorn set the standard for high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, low distortion, and smooth frequency response. These principles, which drive the creation of every single Klipsch loudspeaker, are what make the Klipschorn as sought after today as it was decades ago.

As the only speaker in the world to be in continuous production for 60 years, the Klipschorn has remained relatively unchanged since its inception. In 2005, the company made some minor cosmetic and functional revisions to this legendary speaker, including the elimination of the inset collar, or spacer, between the upper and lower cabinets for a cleaner aesthetic appearance. A horizontal wall seal was added to improve the low frequency horn's response accuracy.

Available in a cherry, walnut or black ash wood veneer finish, the Klipschorn reflects a level of high-quality workmanship that will never go out of style.

Classic piece of engineering. If I had 2 corners to put them in, I'd be tempted to get a set.

I've never auditioned any Klipsch from the Heritage series, but I keep hearing they're nothing like the Reference line and sound a lot more... convincing. I would love to hear a proper Heritage setup.

They are nothing like the reference line. But the reference line blows away a whole lot of speakers people have written and said were amazing.
    I own some stuff.

I used to own the fabled RF-7 and the matching RC-7 center channel, and I got to the point I wouldn't switch my setup on anymore 'cause I didn't like their sound with music LOL A matter of taste, obviously - I've just grown to dislike their colored, nasal timber (which I used to love back when I'd bought them, mind you)

It's understandable. Most of the speakers people swear by sound like mud to me.

Cornwall's and Heresy's in my setup I find I am pining for a Heresy modded into a center styled box (low and long) identical to the WO Heresy's I have now with perhaps two 8" pro style paper surround drivers just like the k33 woofers. I give up on the Academy I can build better. Just need a lone Heresy to salvage...

yeah Academy is not the greatest.. I went with a custom Lascala..mid/tweeter horns with some old vintage 10's . worked pretty well for a number of years..low and long indeed.

Welcome RCarlton, I had a pair of those, they are awesome....one of the best of all times. I think they are still the best Klipsch speakers.
