Default Just picked up new speakers

So I can't quit playing around on criags list, went and picked up a pair of Paradigm monitor 7 v.4's. Man I am so impressed the highs just never seem to quit, I am amazed at the detail in these, I would say these tweeters could rival the horn loaded klipsch tweeters. The mid bass is stunning, not heavy and boomy just tight, accurate, deep and very very smooth. Now I have to decide whether or not to sell the Atoms or the Cinema Micro's I am really torn on which set to sell. Atoms just seem way to nice to only get surround sound duty, but I am having trouble letting them go. However I can get more if I sell the atoms, than the micro's.

The monitor series is very much like a klipsch in my limited listening. Congrats!
    I own some stuff.

    Congrats on the Monitor 7s!!

I would probably sell neither and migrate the Micros to a secondary setup like the bedroom.

But when you have two setups, you always end up listening the one you like the most and neglect the other... no? ;-)

For me it just depends on which room I happen to be in.

Congrats on the new speakers Caliber!! I agree with Vlad ... Though I would have one 'rocking' garage instead of bedroom.

Congrats, man! There are few things in the world better than a new (or new to you) set of speakers.

As for your quandary, that's the kind of quandary one likes to have, right? Vlad's plan gets my vote, unless you have something specific in mind for the cash you'd get from selling a pair.

Not if you use different sources. All caliber needs is a turntable.

I have a turn table and Pioneer A-80 integrated amp and would love to have a secondary setup just for music, but I have no room in the movie room AT ALL, and cant keep my kids out of any other room. So between that and needing to recover from the new purchase I must sell at least one pair. It sounds like the 5 year warranty is transferable so I see no reason I can't get $250 for the Atoms since that seems to be the going rate for them with no warranty. If I do that then my new speakers only cost me $50, yes I stole monitor 7's for $300. I will post pics soon!!!

As much as the word "w00t" isn't getting much love over here, it would seem like an appropriate comment for this ;-)

You tell me, it's you the native English speaker! ;-) LOL I've always thought it was an expression of positive surprise, in between "Wow!" and "What!"

You must remember evill I am just a dumb hill billy!!! I think have heard it before, but never knew what it meant. Thanks for letting me know what it means!!!!! But thanks yeah I think it was a killer deal, I am currently off work due to an injury so I have the luxury of checking criags list on the hour every hour in order to swoop in on the good deals right away. I picked up a new H/K avr-254 for $180 too and it doesn't have a scratch on it!!

These speaker are not photogenic at all, what looks like a simple grey face plate is actually a brushed steel, which looks really nice in person, but does not turn out in the pics.
