Question Best HT In-Wall Speakers System

Been busy for the past couple of months renovating the house with hardwood flooring, porcelain tile in the kitchen, granite countertops, painting, new furniture, etc. My next major project is planning to move the Panasonic 58" plasma (used for the boomoo reviews) from one of walls to on top of the fireplace. My dilemma now is I have the option/preference to go with an in-wall speaker system. I really like the clean look but not too sure about sound quality, placement, and imaging of these types of setup (always went with the traditional giant tower systems of which I'm familiar with). Just wanted hear from junkies if they had any luck with this type of setup and any suggestion/advice on brand and model?

I know folks are going to say the usual "go to the store and listen to them for yourself" blah, blah, blah, bs... I know coz I was one of them for the traditional setup . But that's not what I'm after. I know I can do that, and have....

There are actually advantages to in-wall mounting, provided the speakers are well-designed and you let a subwoofer handle all the low bass. Make sure you stick to the same brand and line for at least the front speakers (for all, ideally). I notice you have a lot of Definitive Technology speakers, and they certainly are good ones. Other brands I would consider would be Paradigm and PSB.

Thanks, guys. I'll look into them. Yaw heard of the Martin Logan Architectural Series? I'm going to the local Best Buy Magnolia to give the Ticket a listen.

Sonance is another brand that I would recommend, right up there with Paradigm IMHO. They're dealer only like Paradigm though.

I Have Sonance 8" round 3-ways in the ceiling and 8" rectangle 3-ways in the rear wall, and I think they're awesome. They match up extremely well with the Paradigm fronts and center that I have. These would be the comparable one to the ones that I have...

    Architectural Series X8R

    Architectural Series X8

They're rated at 150 watts, but I'm running 200 watts into them as surrounds with no issues so far.
