    Question Outdoor Setup Help

A buddy of mine is looking to set up some outdoor entertainment. What would be a good starting point for me to help him find an economical set up?

He's looking for a reciever (CD/iPod input) and a standard wireless speaker setup.

I told him I'd help him find a good deal, but as you can tell from my question, I'm also a newb.

    Thanks for any info.

I am not the smartest with outdoor audio, but one thing I know is that any kind of wireless speaker is overpriced and do not sound good at all. Also Do you have any idea what his budget would be? Many great speaker companies make great outdoor speakers but the price range is huge, just like with indoor HT. As far as a receiver I would probably star with a yamaha rx v 665 it is ipod ready http://www.onecall.com/ProductDetails.aspx?id=95020
