Default Hsu Enthusiast 3, but with ceiling speakers?

I'm starting to finalize my shopping list for what I would say is more of a general use/family room 5.1 HT setup (my first time).

After some research, I'm considering Hsu speakers. Specifically, the subwoofer, center channel, and left/right portion from the Enthusiast 3.

My question is this: I pre-wired my family room for left/right ceiling speakers (of which Hsu does not make). My understanding is that it's best to stick with speakers from the same manufacturer. But, would I be ok with the following setup?

You can't go wrong with that sub, I haven't had he opportunity to hear their loud speakers, have you? You definitely want to stick to the same manufacturer, having a mismatching rear sound stage is not a good idea IMO. Although there is no need to have the sub form the same manufacturer, have you thought of trying a different company for your loud speakers that offers in ceiling speakers?

Good to know about the sub, I don't know much about speakers so just want to be sure to get something of decent quality.

I have not heard their loud speakers. The HT Guys seemed to really be impressed with them, though. (http://www.htguys.com/podcasts/2011/...-speakers.html)

Hsu does have wall mount speakers...but I'd rather not put those in ceiling and go for some round covers.

I hadn't thought about flipping the idea and going with a different sub combined with same mfg for speakers. Any suggestions?

Any reason this cannot be discussed in the public forum so others can benefit?? I really do not want to come off like a jerk here, so please don't take offense, I just feel that others can benefit from information regarding this, and the OP can benefit from multiple opinions/facts.

I would rather talk to anyone over the phone as I don't write things up very well.
I have no problem with the other person posting what ever we talk about, as they can normally do a way better job of it then I can.

Sides and surrounds don't need to be matched as closely to LCRs. It's nice if all 5 speakers match but with modern tools like Audyssey to balance levels you won't notice a difference, unless the in-ceilings are massively different. And by massively I mean like adding in-ceilings from Radio Shack. Also, sub woofers do not need to match the rest of the speakers in any way. A good sub is a good sub regardless of what speakers you match them with.
If you look for the bad in displays expecting to find it, you surely will.
I'm not a calibrator but I play one on my TV.
